tanzanite
Tanzanite is an absolute exception among gemstones and extremely rare. This blue-purple gemstone owes its name to its only known occurrence. It only exists in Tanzania, Africa - at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The actual name of the tanzanite was "zoisite", but this was too reminiscent of "suicide", so that the house of Tiffany, which marketed this gemstone first, changed the name for marketing reasons.
The tanzanite belongs to the hal chakra. Positive qualities such as overcoming shyness and fear are attributed to him. It is also said to be helpful for poor concentration and even depression.
Tanzanite is also the birthstone of all December children.
